Privacy Policy

Sticklly is local-first. If you use the board without signing in, your notes, drawings and stickers are stored only in your browser — they never reach our servers. If you sign in, we store your boards in the cloud so you can sync and collaborate, and we keep the minimum account data needed to make that work.

Guest use (no account): nothing is sent to our servers. Boards are saved in your browser's local storage on your device.

When you create an account:

• Your name, email address and profile picture, provided through our sign-in provider (Clerk)
• Your boards and their content (notes, drawings, text, stickers), so they sync across devices and can be shared
• Presence information while you collaborate (your name, avatar and cursor position, visible to people on the same board)

If you submit a bug report: the title, description and any screenshot you choose to attach. Screenshots are captured only from the Sticklly page itself, never your screen or other applications.

If you joined our waitlist: your name, email address and signup date.

• To provide the product: syncing, sharing and real-time collaboration
• To notify you about important product updates
• To investigate and fix issues you report

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Sticklly is built on a small set of infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf:

• Clerk — authentication and account management
• Supabase — database and real-time synchronization for cloud boards
• Vercel — hosting and privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics

Sticker artwork is our own original work and is served from our own domain — no requests go to third parties when you use stickers.

We use local storage to save your guest boards and preferences on your device, and the cookies required by our sign-in provider to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can delete individual items, clear a whole board, or delete boards at any time from inside the app — deletions remove the data from our database. Guest board data can be removed by clearing your browser storage. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us through the feedback form in the app and we will complete the deletion.

• Request deletion of your personal data
• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Update or correct your information

Cloud data is stored with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and access is protected by row-level security so only you and the people you share a board with can read it.

If we make material changes we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of Sticklly after changes means you accept the updated policy.
